Well Inked Memoirs was born from a simple realisation: when stories are not shared, they are lost. For generations, biography writing was something reserved for celebrities and public figures, while countless family stories faded with time. With new tools now making the process more practical and accessible, we saw an opportunity to change that. Around the same time, both of us experienced the loss of people close to us. We were reminded how many questions remain when those stories are not captured. WIM was founded to give families a way to honour and remember their stories.

For Ben, storytelling has always been about connection. After experiencing the loss of people close to him, he recognised how many questions remain when their stories are not captured. That realisation became the seed of WIM: a way to honour lives through memoirs that combine the precision of modern tools with the warmth of human storytelling. His vision is simple: to make it possible for every family to preserve the legacies that matter most.

Tim’s journey has been guided by a belief in authenticity, kindness, and self-expression. He is passionate about helping others share their stories by creating processes that empower rather than constrain. After more than a decade working in mission-driven startups, WIM represents the next step in bringing that vision to life: making personal stories both accessible and meaningful.

Our Vision
Our lives are made up of more than just milestones. At WIM, we believe ordinary lives hold extraordinary value, shaped by both triumphs and challenges. We safeguard these stories with care, blending the efficiency of modern tools with the warmth and precision of human storytellers. The written word endures, where other mediums fade, and it remains one of the most powerful ways to connect generations.
To capture and craft personal memoirs through interviews, writing, and design, creating lasting books that connect families and inspire generations.
A world where every person’s story is valued and preserved, strengthening belonging and connection across generations and communities.
